Who: the Fallout AU crew
Setting: the Commonwealth
Summary: BoS things, institute things
Warnings: Fallout warnings, smut
Other: [original notes] [first post] [second post] [third post] [fourth post] [fifth post] [sixth post] [seventh post] [eighth post]
- minor timeskip to when the BoS has its feet under it again, shaun asks riley to go up and keep an eye on them and deacon goes with
- they get assigned to a BoS squad composed of AU versions of chancellery guards (paladin archimedes o'hallan, knight-captain anthony norris, lancer-sargeant alex reyes, knight riley reynolds, knight everett wynter, knight henry "hal" saller, aspirant 'jack' "deacon" 'priest')
- maybe some minor quests involving getting to know them, gotta get some solid Bonding going
- sarrith (sarah, secret enclave remnant) and sal's romeo and juliet romance
- that one quest where you get the nukes from the glowing sea for the BoS
- wynter's mistake and gradual ghoulification and the position it puts the squad in
- blind betrayal
- shaun announces ferran officially as his successor
- ferran dealing with the short institute quests that result from that
- shaun discovering ferran's a slut and trying to talk to him about it
- zetta freaking out bc they're spending all this time waiting for her to recover and dealing with the BoS, and not having the time to try to figure out a way to save shaun
- zetta, in general, driving shaun slowly up the wall because she's cooped up and needs to be kept occupied or else Bad Things Start Happening, why is this shaun's life, this was not what he was expecting at all
- ferran going on missions with x6-88 / house divided, warwick
- nathan and zay's one night stand with ferran becoming not a one night stand any more
- at some point we need to have nathan call deacon a mongrel to his face so zetta can go positively nuclear
- zay finding out nathan is taking buffout
- build towards the railroad and institute being on better terms (not *stable*, but they need to be in a position where they're willing to make an alliance at the battle for bunker hill and afterwards to take the BoS down)
- probably need to do a meeting with dez and carrington, bc jfc (and ferran being the next director makes it easier to make negotiations on the institute's behalf though shaun probably doesnt fully trust him with that wrt the railroad yet, shaun needs to see ferran make decisions that benefit the institute OVER the railroad for that)
- mass fusion happens before battle for bunker hill, lighting a fire under the brotherhood's ass (still use it as the faction cut-off point?)
- at the battle, brotherhood wins -- keeping them a legitimate threat and serving as the push for the institute and railroad to work together against them

well, oh, it seems you're a lot like me
you dug yourself into places you never thought you would be
but don't you fret, and don't you mind
the only constant is change,
and you never know what you'll find
yeah, tomorrow i might wake up nice and clean
and i might believe the things i said i didn't mean
and this might turn and wind up just the way we'd dreamed
and i might become the things i swore i'd always be

"Excessive randiness," [he repeats, amusement and fondness coloring his voice -- Nathan's phrasing is especially funny to him.] It'd be interesting to see you as such. Whenever I've got you that worked up, it never ends up lasting, because I can't resist keeping my hands off you. [He smooths his hand along Nathan's stomach.]
no subject
[Zay's hand on his stomach provokes a promising tingle in his nerves. Nothing beyond that yet, but it's a start.]

He loses track of time like that, only stopping when Ferran steps out of the bathroom once again dressed as the Silver Shroud.]

It's marvelous. And entirely fair after Zay kept Nathan horny all day.
He's still wrapped up in Nathan when Ferran finally emerges, and he more notices the shift in Nathan's attention than he does Ferran's presence.]
no subject
Ferran is back. Are you ready?
no subject
Zay decides to start his answer by rocking harder against Nathan and raising his eyebrows.] You can't tell?
no subject
[Over the last ten minutes of Zay's subtle rocking, Nathan's cock had gradually started to grow again, enough for him to be fairly confident that he was ready for another round.]
Any preferences on how we position this? [He remembers last time Zay had a few very specific positions that he didn't want Ferran to have him in.]

He wants to be standing if he can. That's part of the Silver Shroud fantasy. But he also wants to be able to see Zay's face.
...but if the bed is high enough...
...fortunately, he's not too tall...]
Try scooting to the edge of the bed. Face up. I'll stand. The Shroud behind me.
no subject
Alright. [He presses a kiss beside Nathan's mouth, but won't start moving until Nathan gets up.]
no subject
Ferran listened to Nathan's plan, his eyes half-lidded and his limbs loose and relaxed.]
Is there anything in particular you want me to do? Anything you want me to say? Should I pretend to be the Shroud, or just silently fuck you in costume?
no subject
But his questions raise a nagging feeling in the back of Zay's mind, and his brows twitch down slightly. This is for Nathan -- He's said it repeatedly, and he does mean it. But...
He sits up on an elbow.] That question can be extended to you, as well. Is there anything you want?
[Playing a little game with the shower is one thing, but Zay doesn't feel comfortable with Ferran remaining a simple prop for the entire encounter.]
no subject
Just tell me I'm gorgeous and my arse is amazing and I'll be happy.
no subject
Ferran's request, though, makes him huff in laughter.] Yes, alright. We can do that. [Zay sits up and looks to Nathan; it's his turn to answer questions, now. They aren't ones Zay can answer for him, because he has no idea what his Shroud fantasies are like.]
no subject
As for the Shroud...whatever you feel comfortable doing. I don't think I could handle full Shroud radio dialogue during sex without laughing, but if you want to ad lib a little about justice I wouldn't complain.

Well.
I suppose this is the awkward part. Starting.
[He's only half hard, Ferran has clothes on, neither he nor Zay have been prepared... That's probably a good place to begin.]
Ferran, nightstand, top drawer.
