[closed] the only constant is change
Who: the Fallout AU crew
Setting: the Commonwealth
Summary: BoS things, institute things
Warnings: Fallout warnings, smut
Other: [original notes] [first post] [second post] [third post] [fourth post] [fifth post] [sixth post] [seventh post] [eighth post]
- minor timeskip to when the BoS has its feet under it again, shaun asks riley to go up and keep an eye on them and deacon goes with
- they get assigned to a BoS squad composed of AU versions of chancellery guards (paladin archimedes o'hallan, knight-captain anthony norris, lancer-sargeant alex reyes, knight riley reynolds, knight everett wynter, knight henry "hal" saller, aspirant 'jack' "deacon" 'priest')
- maybe some minor quests involving getting to know them, gotta get some solid Bonding going
- sarrith (sarah, secret enclave remnant) and sal's romeo and juliet romance
- that one quest where you get the nukes from the glowing sea for the BoS
- wynter's mistake and gradual ghoulification and the position it puts the squad in
- blind betrayal
- shaun announces ferran officially as his successor
- ferran dealing with the short institute quests that result from that
- shaun discovering ferran's a slut and trying to talk to him about it
- zetta freaking out bc they're spending all this time waiting for her to recover and dealing with the BoS, and not having the time to try to figure out a way to save shaun
- zetta, in general, driving shaun slowly up the wall because she's cooped up and needs to be kept occupied or else Bad Things Start Happening, why is this shaun's life, this was not what he was expecting at all
- ferran going on missions with x6-88 / house divided, warwick
- nathan and zay's one night stand with ferran becoming not a one night stand any more
- at some point we need to have nathan call deacon a mongrel to his face so zetta can go positively nuclear
- zay finding out nathan is taking buffout
- build towards the railroad and institute being on better terms (not *stable*, but they need to be in a position where they're willing to make an alliance at the battle for bunker hill and afterwards to take the BoS down)
- probably need to do a meeting with dez and carrington, bc jfc (and ferran being the next director makes it easier to make negotiations on the institute's behalf though shaun probably doesnt fully trust him with that wrt the railroad yet, shaun needs to see ferran make decisions that benefit the institute OVER the railroad for that)
- mass fusion happens before battle for bunker hill, lighting a fire under the brotherhood's ass (still use it as the faction cut-off point?)
- at the battle, brotherhood wins -- keeping them a legitimate threat and serving as the push for the institute and railroad to work together against them

well, oh, it seems you're a lot like me
you dug yourself into places you never thought you would be
but don't you fret, and don't you mind
the only constant is change,
and you never know what you'll find
yeah, tomorrow i might wake up nice and clean
and i might believe the things i said i didn't mean
and this might turn and wind up just the way we'd dreamed
and i might become the things i swore i'd always be

God, you look fantastic like this.
no subject
Not as fantastic as someone else would, I'm sure. [Despite the words, Zay doesn't sound the slightest insecure. His eyes flick to Ferran.] We'll have to make sure you get that experience some other time. [Because there's no point in pretending any more that there won't be another time.]
no subject
[He removes his finger and squeezes more lube onto his hand, then passes the tube back to Ferran.]
I wish there was a way to do this where I could watch both of you.

[His finger returns to Zay's hole, slipping inside further this time.]
no subject
God, I'm so looking forward to having you. I've wanted you all day. [Which is why he set out on his quest to tease the absolute shit out of him.]
no subject
Next time, you could just ask. [He whispers to Zay.]
no subject
He swallows.] I wanted -- I wanted to see what you'd do. [... maybe he shouldn't have admitted that.]
no subject
Ohhhhh, fuck...
no subject
When he opens his eyes, he doesn't see Ferran over Nathan's shoulder. He has no idea what he just did to Nathan, but he approves.]
no subject
...all right...]
Someday I'll turn the tables. [He pushes his fingers in deep, all the way to the knuckles, then removes them entirely.]
no subject
no subject
Are you ready?
[He holds himself right at Zay's entrance, tip just barely pressing in.]
no subject
Yes, god, please, Nate. I need you.
[... maybe he should care a little more about Ferran, still a relative stranger despite everything, hearing him say things like that. But it's far, far too late for considerations like that.]
no subject
He looks back over his shoulder.]
Your turn now, handsome.
no subject
In a desperate attempt to keep himself from doing that, he drags his palm along the underside of his cock. Unfortunately, that just draws out of him a rather pathetic noise. Damn.]
no subject
no subject
But he forces himself to open his eyes again. He wants to see Nathan's face, wants to watch him as he gets to have it all, wants him to have everything.
... just as much as Zay wants to keep going. He allows himself to buck this time, and he moans.]
no subject
Underneath him, Zay looks undone, and Nathan is proud that he can make Zay make those noises. With Zay around him and Ferran in him, he whimpers a little with each movement, biting his bottom lip like he might be able to hold the sounds in.]
no subject
He reaches up to drag his fingers through Nathan's hair on the side opposite of the ear Ferran's whispering in, nails dragging.] That's right. [He wishes he could say this as smoothly as he'd like, but he's breathless and it's more difficult to put words together than he wants to show.] Let us hear you, Nate. Let... fuck.
[Well, it was nice while it lasted.]
no subject
no subject
Zay can't not groan in response. He rubs his thumb across Nathan's cheek, under his eye, a purely affectionate touch, though a clumsy one.
But then he reaches past Nathan, to drag his hand through Ferran's hair the same way he did to Nathan.]
no subject
This is...
[He doesn't have enough breath or coherence of thought to finish the sentence.]
